Timing your work can be extremely stressful. Do you add some extra time to make it perfect, do you just stop and accept the result, or do you distribute the time at hand for a more even process?
Mathematical projects can be so unemotional. You make a plan. You follow the rules. Success is then within reach. How hard can it be? Enter, feelings.
One week! One full week +1 day! The project is rolling, starting to have a life of it’s own! But what for? What’s the point of trying harder? And is this project good for anyone anyway?
Who knows? Everyone has their own opinion. But the one basic thing is, that tailoring makes me happy. I love analyzing what clothes do for us, and what garments actually are. The ability to create exactly what you want, and then wear it with comfort, is such a joy! I feel truly blessed to be able to do that. Just a simple fact.
5 days ago I run a marathon. It was one of the warmest ones in Copenhagen Marathon’s history! Wow! That was a really, really hot day! With the sun beaming from a clear blue sky, and almost no shadows in sight. Such a beautiful experience!
Finally! Done. The Electric Blue Cobalt Turtleneck is ready for fitting. (Only hemming is left to be finished.)
I hope this new addition of vibrant color(s) to the Bespoke Era project will give it a fresh boost.
Mending – or saving as I usually call it – is a word seldom used today. When something accidentally is torn apart or worn to pieces, it is usually thrown away. But sometimes a garment can actually be your absolute favorite, or for some other reason be valuable enough to save. What to do? Start mending!
